HISTORY

Brian's life was tragically cut short on January 21, 2012. Brian was a lifelong Garden City resident, a 2007 graduate of Garden City High School, and a 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina. His family and friends wish to honor Brian's zest for life and friendship by establishing the Brian J. O'Mara Foundation.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Foundation is to support a scholarship fund for students in need and support underprivileged children through athletic programs. The Foundation will raise money by holding various charitable events during the course of each calendar year to generate sufficient funds for the scholarship. The Foundation will operate as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non profit corporation.
